Mary J Blige is to headline this year’s Essence Music Festival in New Orleans. The RnB star - who has performed at Essence eight times - is expected to sing songs from her latest studio album, Stronger With Each Tear. Billed as one of America’s largest annual events celebrating black music and culture, the festival is slated to run from July 2-4.
